Potts' dictionary was intended for the prominent laymen engaged in business and agriculture. He pays special attention to commercial legilation regarding bankruptcy, insurance and bills of exchange, as well as to the nature of tenures and tithes. In addition to definitions, Potts discusses a variety of issues ranging from current regulations for dog muzzles to the legal rights and reseponsibilities of children. |
