July 25th, 1899, daughter of William and Mary (McNeal) Handley of Lewisburg, West Va. Ralph Musser graduated from Pennsylvania State College in 1914. He joined the United States Army in Aug., 1918 for World War service, and was sent to training camp at Wadsworth, So. Carolina. Three weeks later he went overseas with his company, the 56th Pioneer Infantry. He served in the Argonne until the Armistice was signed, when his company was sent to join the Army of Occupation at Coblenz, Germany, until May 25th, 1919. He was a Corporal. He taught English in one of the schools for soldiers while at Coblenz. He returned to America, June 25th, 1919. His home is at Thomasville, Ga. Mr. Shay entered service in the World War, Aug. 24th, 1918, and sailed for France Oct. 22d, 1918. He was in Company E, 20th Infantry Brigade. James Alexander is a graduate of the Williamson School of Mechanical Trades, and of Columbia University, New York, N. Y., 1918. During the World War he taught at the camp in Albany, N. Y., a crippled hand preventing him from going into active service. He is Purchasing Agent for the Tennessee Furniture Corporation at Chattanooga, Tenn. Before taking this position he taught Mechanical Trades at the New York State Teachers College, Albany, N. Y. His home is on Lookout Mountain.
