Ruth Barber graduated from Vassar College, with an A. B. degree and Honorable Mention, in 1913. Mr. Monroe graduated from Dartmouth College, Scientific Course, in June, 1913. In 1913-14 he studied Real Estate Law at Northwestern University, Chicago, Ill. In the World War he served in the U. S. Navy. He is a Trustee of the Methodist Church and of the Silver Cross Hospital, a member of the firm Monroe Bros., Real Estate and Insurance, Joliet, Ill. He belongs to Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

After attending the University of Chicago one year, 1911-12, Ralph Barber entered Cornell University, Ithaca, N. Y., in the Fall of 1913 and graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Course in 1917. He served in the World War, enlisting in May, 1917. He was commissioned Second Lieutenant June 17th, 1917, with the 311th Engineers 86th Division of the Pioneer Engineer Regiment. Commissioned First Lieutenant, July 18th, 1918. He served ten months overseas.

After his discharge he was with the Illinois Steel Co.; later with Stone and Webster; the Standard Oil Co. of New Jersey; and the Johns Manville Corporation. He is a member of Psi Upsilon Fraternity.

Jean Barber graduated from Wheaton College, Norton, Mass., in the class of 1920. In 1927-28 is President of The Holly Club of Joliet. Mr. Edmunds spent one year at the University of Illinois. He is a graduate of Greer College of Automotive Engineering, Chicago, Ill.

Nelson Lambert is a graduate of the Holbrook School,

Ossining, N. Y. He served in the World War, enlisting April 11th, 1917, in the 108th Engineers, 33d Division, and was sent to France with his company in 1918.

He took part in the following engagements: the Somme offensive, Aug. 8th to Sept. 10th, 1918; the St. Mihiel offensive, Sept. 11th to Sept. 18th, 1918; the MeuseArgonne offensive, Sept. 24th to Nov. 11th, 1918. He was commissioned Second Lieutenant, Corp of Engineers, U. S. Army, Sept. 25th, 1918. He received his discharge June 26th, 1919.

He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers; the American Legion; Captain in Officers Reserve Corp, U. S. A.; the Masons; the National Sojourners Club, an organization whose members must be Masons and members of the U. S. Army; the Gary Commercial Club, and the Gary Chamber of Commerce. He is head of the firm Nelson D. Lambert and Co., Real Estate dealers, Gary, Ill. Mrs. Lambert is a member of Beta Gamma Upsilon Sorority, and of the Junior League. Mr. Butler graduated from Pennsylvania State College, 1918, and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1922 with degree of L.L. B. He is associated with the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, New York City.

April 27th, 1917, Mr. Butler enlisted at the Officers' Training Camp, Fort Niagara, for World War Service. He was Captain, 11th Division Infantry attached to Division Headquarters.

Guiley Tompkins graduated from Blair Academy, Blairstown, N. J. in 1917, and from Dartmouth College in 1924. Being under eighteen at the time of the World War he could not enter military service, but he did his share by working in the Cambridge, Mass. Gas Works to take the place of workmen at the front. In 1928 he teaches Chemistry at the Ware, Mass. High School.
