"In each case fees shall be charged in the taxable costs for but one manuscript copy of the record, and that shall be to the party bringing the cause into court, unless the court shall otherwise direct." Add at the end of section 1: "Ohe hour on each side shall be allowed to the argument of a motion, and no more, without special leave of the court, granted before the argument begins." [Promulgated Dec. 18, 1876.] AMENDMENT TO GENERAL ORDERS IN BANKRUPTCY. AMENDMENT TO GENERAL ORDER 30, OF THE GENERAL ORDERS IN BANKRUPTCY, ENTITLED "FEES AND COSTS," UNDER THE HEAD OF "ASSIGNEES." "It being found that, in certain special cases requiring great care and exertion on the part of assignees in bankruptcy, the fees and allowances now provided are insufficient, it is therefore hereby "Ordered, That, in such cases as are above mentioned, the district judge be, and is hereby, authorized, by and with the advice and concurrence of the circuit justice or judge, to make such additional allowance to the assignee or trustee, or to both or either of them if there be more than one, as in his judgment shall be a fair and just compensation for his or their services, having regard to the amount of assets, the amount of labor required, and the special circumstances of the case; and that so much of General Order 30 as conflicts herewith be repealed."
